The Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC) organizes, trains, equips, and deploys the 20,000+ Expeditionary Sailors who are critical to our Navy’s ability to conduct Distributed Maritime Operations across a wide range of complex, uncertain, and dynamic operating environments.  NECC Forces CLEAR the battlespace of hazards; SECURE critical maritime terrain, sea lines of communication, and resources; BUILD infrastructure, awareness, logistics chains, and partnerships; and PROTECT the Fleet, facilities, and our Joint, Allied, and Partner brothers and sisters at arms.  In doing so, NECC enables Integrated Naval Forces to deliver blue water lethality and dominate the littoral battlespace in support of our nation’s strategic aims, in environments ranging from competition up to full-scale combat.
